Order by November 16: bobbleheads and felted pet keychains

Handmade gifts take the longest because each one is made by hand from your photos, and production starts only after you approve the preview.

• Custom bobbleheads ($67.90–$217.50): one person from $67.90 and two people from $127.40, with an optional pet or object. Browse every design in our custom bobbleheads collection, and see our Christmas bobblehead guide for the full process.
• Custom pet face keychain ($69.20): a 3.5-inch needle-felted portrait of their dog's, cat's or other pet's face, on a key ring.

If you can, order a week or so before November 16. It leaves room for an extra round of preview changes.

Order by November 27: engraved and carved keepsakes

These take 5–7 business days to make. November 27 is the day after Thanksgiving, so it is easy to lose track of; set a reminder.

• Sterling silver photo necklace ($33.90): a pet's or a person's face carved into the pendant, with a name or short phrase engraved on the back.
• Crystal ball music box ($79.90 with your photo, $69.90 with a ready-made design): a 4-inch crystal ball on a wooden base that plays "Always with Me."
• Photo engraved champagne flutes or wine glasses ($46.60 single, $78.20 couple set): engraved with a photo, names or a date.
• Wood engraved portrait frame ($49.00–$79.90): a portrait carved in wood from your photo.

• Pet portrait accessories: the embroidered pet portrait scarf ($59.90) and pet portrait baseball cap ($59.99).

The pet mug, blanket, scarf and cap are made from your photo, so their production starts after you approve the preview. Reply to preview emails the same day if you can.

Missed December 1? Gift card and express shipping

• Ask before you order. Email support@giftsjourneyshop.com with the item you want before you place the order. Some items offer rush production on request, and express shipping is $15. We will tell you honestly whether it can arrive in time, so please wait for our reply before you count on it.
• Send a Gifts Journey gift card. Choose $35, $70, $130 or $220. Nothing ships: the gift card is delivered by email, so you can forward it or print it for a card. They pick their gift and upload their own photo whenever they are ready, which also means you do not have to find the right photo without spoiling the surprise.

As a guide, $70 covers a 6-inch single-person bobblehead ($67.90) or a felted pet keychain ($69.20) before shipping, $130 covers a couple bobblehead (from $127.40), and $220 covers a family bobblehead (up to $217.50).

How to order and which photo to send

Production starts only once we have your photo and, for photo items, your preview approval, so the fastest orders are the ones that arrive complete:

• Have the photo ready before you check out. Upload it with the Upload your photo button on the product page. One sharp, front-facing, well-lit photo of each face works best. Add a full-body photo if a bobblehead outfit matters, and front, side and back photos for a felted pet keychain.
• Type names exactly. Name items are made exactly as typed, so check the spelling and capital letters.
• Reply to previews quickly. Photo items get a digital preview to approve before production starts.
• Send extra photos by email. Reply to your order confirmation email if you find a better photo.

How the order-by dates are worked out

Each date is the production time plus standard delivery, which usually takes 6–9 business days after dispatch:

• Bobbleheads and felted pet keychains: 10–15 business days after you approve the preview.
• Necklace, crystal ball, champagne flutes and wood portrait: 5–7 business days.
• Lamps, night lights and pillows: 3–5 business days.
• Embroidered items, mugs, blankets, makeup bags, brushes and stockings: 2–4 business days.

Standard shipping is free on US orders of $70 or more and $7.99 under $70, and express is $15. Remote areas and the holiday season can add time, which is why we ask you to email us before ordering once a date has passed. Every option is on our delivery information page.
