Personalized Christmas Gifts for Mom: Ideas Made with Her Name or a Family Photo

Quick answer: The most personal Christmas gifts for Mom carry her name or a photo of the people (and pets) she loves. For pampering, choose the silk sleep mask set ($89.90) or fluffy makeup bag ($79.90) with her name. For a keepsake, a custom photo moon lamp ($33.90–$50.90) or 3D night lamp ($48.40–$74.70) puts a family photo by her bed, and a handmade bobblehead of Mom starts at $67.90. Personalized Christmas gift ideas for Mom

Every gift below is made to order with her name or your photo, and the prices listed are for the personalized version. You can browse more ideas in our personalized gifts for her collection.

For the mom who never takes a break

The personalized silk sleep mask gift set includes a mulberry silk sleep mask with her name, initials or a short phrase in rhinestone embroidery, plus a matching padded headband and scrunchie, all in a gift box. Choose Blush Pink, White, Lavender or Ruffled Blush Pink. It costs $89.90 and ships free on its own.

For her vanity, purse or morning routine

The fluffy makeup bag with her name ($79.90) is a soft pink quilted bag, about 9.8 × 5.9 × 3.9 inches, with her name or initials embroidered on it. Two smaller name gifts go well with it:

• Hand-painted wooden hair brush ($39.90): beech wood with hand-painted flowers, in a large size with her full name or a small size with one initial.
• Glitter compact mirror ($29.90): her name in rhinestones on a purse-size mirror, in 5 colors and a heart, round or rectangular shape.

Made from a family photo

If Mom keeps every school picture, give her a photo she can display:

• Custom photo 3D moon lamp ($33.90–$50.90): printed with your photo, with an optional name, date or short message, in 4.0, 4.7 or 5.9 inch sizes.
• Custom photo 3D night lamp ($48.40–$74.70): your photo as a glowing lamp, with a short message such as "Love you, Mom" on the wooden base. It is priced by the number of people in the photo, up to 8–10, so the whole family fits.
• Wood engraved portrait frame ($49.00–$79.90): a portrait carved in wood from your photo, in 6 to 12 inch sizes.
• Crystal ball music box ($79.90 with your photo): your photo inside a 4-inch crystal ball on a wooden base that plays "Always with Me" when wound up.

A handmade bobblehead of Mom

The custom bobblehead for her is sculpted by hand in polymer clay from her photos and dressed in her favorite outfit, work uniform or hobby gear. Choose 1 person only ($67.90–$90.00), 1 person + 1 pet ($101.90–$121.50) to include her dog or cat, or 1 person + 1 object ($115.50–$144.40). For Mom and Dad together, the custom family bobblehead starts at $127.40 for two people.

For the mom who loves her dog or cat

The sterling silver photo necklace ($33.90) has her pet's face carved into a 925 sterling silver pendant from your photo, with a name or short phrase engraved on the back. It can also be made with a person's face, such as a grandchild. The custom pet photo blanket ($54.90) is a soft flannel throw printed with her pet's photo, in 3 sizes and 6 background colors, and the pet portrait mug ($29.99) carries a hand-drawn portrait of her dog or cat.

Small gifts and stocking stuffers

The initial glass mug ($29.99) has her initial hand-painted on a 17 oz borosilicate glass mug, with an optional name or date. If your family hangs stockings, a stocking with "Mom" embroidered on the cuff, such as the classic personalized Christmas stocking ($41.90 with a name), gives her a place on the mantel. Our personalized Christmas stockings guide compares the three styles.

How to order and which photo to send

• Name gifts (sleep mask set, makeup bag, brush, mirror, glass mug, stocking): type her name in the personalization box exactly as it should appear. Name items are made exactly as typed, so check the spelling and capital letters before you check out.
• Photo gifts (lamps, wood portrait, crystal ball, necklace): use the Upload your photo button on the product page and choose a sharp, well-lit photo where the faces are large and in focus. For the 3D night lamp, select the number of people in your photo.
• Bobblehead: send one clear, front-facing photo of her face, plus a full-body photo if you want an outfit copied. Describe the outfit, pose and props in Special instructions.
• Keeping it a surprise: recent phone photos usually work if her face is clear. You can reply to your order confirmation email with more photos.

Items made from a photo come with a digital preview to approve before production starts. Reply to preview emails quickly, because production begins only after you approve.
